MOBILISATION TREATMENT

Treatments Available:

We offer a range of traditional hands-on treatments including manipulation, mobilisation, soft tissue massage, exercise and education regarding prevention and management of chronic and recurrent conditions.Techniques could include Mckenzie, Mulligan or Pilates treatment regimes.

 

We also use a range of sophisticated electrical equipment including:

  • Ultrasound

  • Pulsed Short Wave Diathermy

  • Laser

  • T.E.N.S/Microcurrent

 

These are used to help with pain management and the promotion of healing.

Conditions treated:

 

We offer a wide range of patient treatments:

  • SPINAL HEALTH - including: prolapsed disc, degeneration, sciatia, scoliosis, stiff/painful neck and refered arm and leg pain.
 
  • JOINT PROBLEMS - arthritis, trauma, swelling in joints (such as shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles.

 

  • AFTER SURGERY - rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgery e.g hip and knee replacements or physiotherapy after general surgery.

 

  • FRACTURES - treatment to regain joint range, muscle power and function once the bone has healed.

 

  • SPORTS INJURY - strains, sprains and bruising to soft tissue.

 

  • INJURIES - to muscles, ligaments, cartilage and tendon problems and to work related conditions such as Repetative Strain Injury (RSI).

 

  • NEUROLOGOICAL CONDITIONS - such as: stroke, head injury, nerve injuries, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, M.E. / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

 

  • MISCELLANEOUS - such as: stress related conditions, burns and advice only sessions.
